Programme Future Narratives, research festival of RITCS School of Arts
Have a look at the programme for fall 2026!
Future Narratives showcases artistic research at RITCS and sets it in motion. Through workshops, screenings, lectures, performances and writing groups, researchers are given the space to present their work, question it and develop it further. The programme brings together RITCS researchers, external practitioners and thinkers, students, lecturers and the public around artistic practices and the questions that arise from them.
This year, Future Narratives is adopting a more curatorial approach, with a focus on creating dialogue between different events. Based in Brussels, the programme is developing in active dialogue with the city’s arts and research ecosystem, as well as with French-speaking research partners, schools and universities.
In this way, Future Narratives brings practices, perspectives and forms of knowledge into contact with one another. The programme provides a space for questions that do not yet have a clear-cut answer, and for artistic research that can continually challenge the ways in which we see, listen and live together.
